Summary of Corporate Plan 2009 - 2019
Late 2008, Council commenced the preparation of its Corporate Plan for the period 2009 to 2019, by engaging consultants Starfire Solutions.
In formulating the Corporate Plan, Starfire Solutions held a number of public meetings in all communities within the Longreach Region. Feedback from these meetings, together with Council's input, has now been combined into a Final Corporate Plan. Starfire Solutions presented the draft Corporate Plan to Council's Meeting on 12th February, with Council resolving to invite community feedback on the draft.
Council Resolved to adopt the Corporate Plan at a meeting on the 14th of May. The Corporate Plan sets out Council's vision for the future and its strategies to achieve that vision and will help Council shape the future of our Region.
