Sporting Group Grants

The Longreach Multi-Purpose Youth Sport and Recreation group provides advice to Council recommending applications for Youth and Sporting based activities in the Longreach Region.

Applicants are generally required to provide at least one-third of the requested funding, with applications for less than $10,000 recommended by the multi-purpose group.

Applications over $10,000 are referred to council with a recommendation from the group.

Council has final determination if any application is successful.
