For residents in our region, Queensland Health is the lead agency responsible for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) response. 
Your first port-of-call for information should be the Queensland Health website which includes a useful fact sheet and frequently asked questions.

The Australian Government has launched the Coronavirus Australia mobile app, available from the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Also available is the Australian Government's new WhatsApp feature

The Central West Hospital and Health Service website and facebook page contains useful information specific to our region.

Keeping healthy

Please follow the prevention advice provided by Queensland Health.

If you are required to self-isolate carefully follow this advice.

The Australian Government has also developed a range of resources for aged care residents and families.

Feeling unwell? If you develop a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, call ahead to your GP or call 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84).

Council is working with local businesses, community groups, event organisers and tourism operators to assist them following the Australian Government's directions that place limits and restriction on a range of gatherings.
