Christmas/New Year Garbage Collection 2020-2021

The community is advised of the following changes to the garbage collection timetable for the Christmas and New Year holiday period in Longreach:
Garbage Collection – Longreach
Garbage Bins scheduled for collection on Friday 25 December, 2020 (Christmas Day) will be collected Thursday 24 December, 2020. Garbage Bins scheduled for collection on Friday 1 January, 2021 (New Year’s Day) will be collected Thursday 31 December, 2020.
All other bin collection days in Longreach remain unchanged. The Longreach Waste and Refuse Facility will be closed on Public Holidays only.
Garbage Collection – All other townships
Bin collection days for Ilfracombe, Isisford, and Yaraka will remain unchanged.
