Submissions – 2020 Show Day Public Holiday

Council invites submissions from the community regarding the most appropriate allocation of the 2020 Show Day Public Holiday. This year, and in recent years, the holiday has been allocated to the first Tuesday in November, to coincide with the running of the Melbourne Cup.
The holiday can be allocated to any date associated with an agricultural event.
The community can make submissions either:
- via email, to assist@longreach.qld.gov.au;
- via post, to PO Box 144 Ilfracombe, QLD 4727;
- or in person, at any Council office.
Submissions must be received in writing no later than 5:00pm on Monday 24 June 2019.
