Water Restrictions

Water supplies are limited by the season, so it is essential that all users maintain 'Water Wise' practices – Using water wisely | Environment, land and water | Queensland Government. Longreach Regional Council has water restrictions in place all year across all communities.

Current Water Restrictions:

  • Longreach: Level 1 - (effective since 01/12/2023)
  • Ilfracombe: Level 1 - (effective since 11/02/2020)
  • Isisford: Level 1 - (effective since 12/04/2019)
  • Yaraka: Level 1 - (effective since 12/04/2019)
