Ilfracombe Races

The Ilfracombe Picnic Races are back, bigger than ever for 2025 and we invite you to celebrate The Counsell Family "Willowie Cup Day" on Saturday the 12th of July!
Join us at the Ilfracombe Race Club from 11am, for a fabulous day of food, fun and good old fashioned country racing.  The program includes five thrilling horse races, while the ever-popular Undies Race returns after the last, with a cash prize up for grabs!

Enjoy TSS / St Hilda’s Fashions on the Field and entertainment from Trent Bell on the main stage, with the Great Northern & Racecourse Bars operating until late, with EFTPOS facilities available!

Get your mates together! Book a table for 10 people in The Hoolihan Family “Round Yard.” This includes a food and beverage package close to the Great Northern Bar.

Bus transfers available to and from Longreach RSL - Willowie Cup Day - 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm

Returning Willowie Cup Day - Longreach RSL - 7.00pm, 9.00pm, 10.30pm
