Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival comes to Longreach

— Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival and The Qantas Founders Museum are proud to announce a special double feature film screening on Thursday, 26th June, bringing together two unique cinematic experiences that celebrate Australia’s sense of cinematic history and comic spirit.
The evening will showcase the acclaimed documentaryLove of an Icon and Crocodile Dundee: The Encore Cut, a newly remastered edition of the beloved classic that put Australia on the global film map.  

Crocodile Dundee burst onto global screens and into the hearts of millions nearly 40 years ago and is still Australia’s most successful film of all time. But little does anyone know, that behind this cultural icon - was a cast and crew with no feature film experience, last-minute funding struggles, and an industry that never saw it coming.  Love of an Icon: The Legend of Crocodile Dundee is unashamedly a glowing tribute to John Cornell and the work he created.
