Compliance Notices for vegetation reduction will be issued. Those failing to rectify issues in full within the specified times may face fines of up to $560.00 for non compliance with a notice. Additionally, Council may eventually engage contractors to undertake outstanding works on the residents behalf with all costs incurred to be recovered from the resident or landowner.
Residents receiving a notice who for legitimate reasons are unable to maintain their property within the specified timeframe should contact Council’s Local Laws team on (07) 4658 4111 for further advice.
